Each week features a live, interactive 75–90 minute session with expert-led education, practical tools, and time for Q&A.
Designed for expectant parents who want to feel informed, connected, and confident through pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum. Join from anywhere and access recordings for 30 days after the final session if you can’t attend live.
Format: Six live virtual sessions (75-90 minutes each) on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm on Zoom

Week 1 – The Pelvic Floor Connection: From Prenatal Prep to Postpartum Rehab
Led by: Susannah Stewart, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Learn how your pelvic floor and core adapt during pregnancy—and how to support them for birth and recovery.
Includes:
- Pelvic floor 101: what’s happening and why it matters
- Gentle movement and breathwork to enhance muscle function
- Preparing your pelvic floor for birthing

- Early strategies for postpartum healing
Week 2 – Nourish to Flourish: Nutrition for Pregnancy & Postpartum
Led by: Amber Baker, Co-Founder of Glow Integrative Clinic & Holistic Nutritionist
Explore how to nourish your body for energy, balanced mood, and optimal fetal development throughout pregnancy—and set yourself up for postpartum recovery.
Includes:
- Key nutrients for the third trimester
- Managing cravings, nausea, and fatigue through food
- Blood sugar and digestion support
- Foods and liquids for labour
- Postpartum nourishment planning
- Sample meal ideas and supplement guidance
Week 3 – Rooted & Ready: Acupuncture Wisdom for Pregnancy & Birth
Led by: Jessica Wyn Mosher, Acupuncturist
Discover the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) approach to supporting balance, calm, and readiness for birth.
Includes:
- How acupuncture and TCM support pregnancy
- Pressure points for sleep, nausea, anxiety, and labor prep
- Energetics of the third trimester
- Herbal safety basics
- Guided acupressure techniques for home use
Week 4 – Labor of Love: Navigating Birth with Confidence
Led by: Nuala Irving, Doula
Feel prepared and empowered for birth with practical tools, advocacy skills, and a deeper understanding of what to expect.
Includes:
- What to expect in labor: stages, signs, and options
- Birth preferences vs. birth plans
- Comfort techniques (breath, movement, partners’ role)
- Understanding interventions and informed choice
- Post-birth golden hour and early recovery
Week 5 – Inside the Birth Room: Insights from a Midwife
Led by: Brandi Wasyluk, Registered Midwife
Gain perspective from the midwifery lens on labor care, communication, and the birth team dynamic.
Includes:
- When to call your provider / head to your birthing space
- Midwifery model of care and collaborative decision-making
- Navigating different birth environments (home, hospital, birth centre)
- Monitoring baby and birthing person safely
- Common procedures, pain management, and postpartum checks
Week 6 – The Fourth Trimester: Emotional Recovery & Mental Health
Led by: Elena Trenholm, Clinical Counsellor
Nurture your emotional well-being as you transition into parenthood. Learn tools to navigate identity shifts, relationships, and mood changes with compassion.
Includes:
- What to expect emotionally after birth
- Understanding “baby blues,” postpartum depression, and anxiety
- Communicating needs with your partner or support system
- Managing overwhelm, setting boundaries, tuning into intuition
- Self-compassion practices and building your village
All sessions are held on Zoom, on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm PST. Recordings will be available for 30 days following the final session of each cohort. Participants will also receive a workbook to support them through the program.

Susannah Stewart
Pelvic Health Physiotherapist at Glow Integrative
Susannah Stewart is a pelvic health physiotherapist who takes a gentle, integrative approach to care—one that honours the connection between mind, body, and nervous system. She weaves together yoga, sex education, and trauma-informed practices to help patients feel more embodied, empowered, and supported in their healing.
Her own pelvic floor challenges led her to seek care from a pelvic physiotherapist, an experience that inspired her career path. Today, Susannah works collaboratively with mental health professionals to ensure patients receive holistic, coordinated support, recognizing the profound ways that trauma and mental health impact pelvic health.
Susannah supports individuals across a wide range of concerns, including pelvic pain, urinary urgency and incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, painful sex, painful vulva, constipation, low back pain, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, perimenopause and menopause transitions, as well as preparation for and recovery from gender-affirming and other pelvic surgeries.
Deeply inspired by the courage and vulnerability of her patients, Susannah is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space for healing. Outside of the clinic, she loves to sing, dance, swim in lakes, practice yoga, play with fashion, and spend time with dogs.
Amber Baker
Co-Founder & Nutritionist at Glow Integrative
Amber Baker is a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and the Co-Founder of Glow Integrative Clinic in Victoria, BC.
With advanced training in women’s integrative health and over a decade of clinical and teaching experience, Amber supports individuals through all stages of hormonal change—from menstruation and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.
Her approach is rooted in both science and lived experience. After witnessing a close family member’s journey with cancer, Amber’s curiosity around integrative care led her to pursue a career in holistic nutrition. She now holds additional designations as a Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner (NNCP) and a Certified Holistic Cancer Practitioner (CHCP).
Amber is also an experienced educator and currently serves as Dean of Holistic Nutrition at Pacific Rim College. She is known for her compassionate, empowering approach, helping individuals build body literacy and make informed, sustainable choices for their health—choices grounded in knowledge and guided by self-trust.
Outside of Glow, Amber is Mom to Claire and Max—her two favourite people in the world.


Jessica Wyn Mosher
Acupuncturist at Glow Integrative
Jessica is a dedicated registered acupuncturist with a special interest in menstrual health, pregnancy, and menopause. She has pursued advanced continuing education in women’s health, myofascial needling, qi gong, and the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for emotional trauma and spiritual support.
Jessica's holistic approach is enriched by her extensive background in birth work, yoga instruction, and yoga therapy for both individuals and couples. She is deeply committed to nurturing her well-being through nature, movement, creative practices, and the principles of TCM for self-care. She looks forward to supporting her clients on their journeys toward optimal health and wellness at our integrative clinic.
Nuala Irving
Birth Doula at Glow Integrative
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Nuala grew up in Nanaimo and later moved to Victoria, where she has spent the past eight years building a life surrounded by the natural beauty of the island she loves.
A graduate of Pacific Rim College’s Holistic Doula program, Nuala is a certified prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula. Her passion for birth work is grounded in a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Guided by compassion, advocacy, and a belief in holistic, whole-person care, she supports families through the physical, emotional, and mental transformations of pregnancy and early parenthood.
Her appreciation for the mind-body connection began early through years of competitive dance, where she developed a lasting respect for the body’s strength, movement, and innate wisdom. This foundation continues to shape her approach to wellness and her work as a doula.
When not supporting families, she can often be found outdoors—breathing in the salty ocean air or exploring the island’s forest trails.


Brandi Wasyluk
Midwife at Cook Street Community Midwives
Brandi was drawn to midwifery through her passion for health and her belief that pregnancy and birth are natural yet profound experiences in the lives of families—experiences that deserve to be honoured, respected, and celebrated.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from McGill University (2007) and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery from McMaster University (2011). Throughout her career as a midwife, Brandi has cultivated an integrative philosophy of care that blends evidence-based research with a holistic approach to midwifery practice. She feels deeply humbled and grateful to serve in this role and is dedicated to helping families experience pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood as positive, empowering journeys.
Brandi has had the opportunity to live and work in communities across Saskatchewan, Alberta, the Yukon, Quebec, and Ontario, and now feels fortunate to call beautiful Victoria home. She acknowledges with respect and humility that her practice is located on the traditional lands of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, and the WSÁNEĆ peoples, whose historical relationships with the land continue today.
When not catching babies, Brandi enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, baking, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family. She is also passionate about teaching and serves as an instructor in Advanced Labour and Risk Management and Neonatal Resuscitation.
Elena Trenholm
Clinical Counsellor at Glow Integrative
Elena is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Her approach to care extends beyond the time spent in session; she is deeply committed to ongoing learning through books, courses, and clinical supervision. She has completed extensive additional training in sexual health and disability justice, areas that continue to inform her work.
Elena views counselling as a way to cultivate care and spaciousness for the whole self. Her style is strength-based, relational, and grounded in harm reduction and an anti-oppressive framework. She integrates a variety of modalities to meet clients where they are, including somatic, existential, psychodynamic, and cognitive processing therapyapproaches.
Elena provides neurodivergent-, queer-, and gender-affirming care and is currently accepting new clients. She offers compassionate and practical support navigating chronic stress or Illness, anxiety and depression, trauma, relationships, exploring gender and sexuality, autism and ADHD, self-esteem, and sex and intimacy.
